NPP's Parliamentary aspirant for Klottey Korle constituency, Nii Noi Nortey says he will beat NDC parliamentary candidate Dr. Zanetor Rawling if given the bid to lead the party.
On Saturday, Nii Noi faces two other candidates --- Lawyer Philip Anderson and Nii Adjei Tawiah for an election rerun .
Speaking to CITI FM reporter Franklin Badu jnr, Mr. Nortey said if he emerges winner in Saturday's poll, he will beat NDC's Zanetor. "I can beat Zanetor," he said.
He however admitted the daughter of former president Rawlings will not be walkover. "But we would have to work hard to beat her," he added.
Nii Noi also told the reporter that despite agreeing to a rerun of the election, he still "feels bitter about it."
"We all feel bitter about it but like I said, victory comes from God; and the Bible tells us hard work pays. The delegates on the ground know what they want, after my victory, the whole party must unite in the constituency and work towards victory come November 7," he said.
